what if the sith created him...
although i strongly believe that Anakin was a product of the force and not the sith (read here), i have some thoughts. if anakin was indeed created by Sidious and/or Plageuis, it doesn't necessarily mean he was destined to be a sith. perhaps they created an extremely strong force being in hopes that they would be able to manipulate him. of course, we've learned from star wars time and time again that we are all make our own choices and are responsible for any mistakes we might make. perhaps the sith's arrogance and overconfidence allowed them to believe that they could make Anakin turn to the dark side if he, in fact, did not grow up that way. fortunately for the sith, anakin did follow the path that those of evil paved for him. we all know that it was anakin's decision to join sidious, not sidious' manipulation of him. although he did turn him in that direction, it was anakin that took the first step. (once again, i believe that anakin's intentions of joining the sith did not stem from the evil within him. it was his love and selfishness that convinced him to make the decisions he did.)

i'd also like to point out that the sith may have been responsible for their own demise. they created anakin believing he would join them regardless of anything else and would lead them to victory in their mission to rule the galaxy. however, when the sith created anakin they created their destroyer. the boy created was, in fact, exactly what the Force had intended. he was the chosen one, responsible for bringing balance to the force when darkness was rampant. he was to bring peace to the galaxy. exactly the opposite of what the sith had intended when they made the decsion to bring him to life. the man who was supposed to be the savior of the sith, was actually the force's way of destroying them.

once again, i don't believe the sith created anakin and that he was a product of the force, but here are some things to think about if i'm wrong.
