RotS Review - Part One
Actually, first of all I would like to say that I did not go to the midnight showing, I went to the 10.30AM showing and there was only around fifteen people in total at the theatre. I wish I got to go to the midnight showing, but I couldn't.

Okay, here's my review. :) Even if it is quite short...

I was so excited when the blue writing appeared on the screen, as it was the beginning of the final Episode of the Star Wars saga.

And then, the opening crawl burst forth. This was incredibly exciting, I nearly wet myself at this very moment.

As the camera panned down, Coruscant came into view. Now I must admit, the visuals of the opening space battle were pretty fantastic. I especially liked the buzz droids. :D

There was a strange childish humour to some moments once they arrived on the Invisible Hand, like when Artoo zapped one of the Super Battle Droids and the Super Battle Droid said 'Ow!' and kicked Artoo over... But 'twas all in good fun.

Then there was the Dooku vs. Obi-Wan and Anakin duel. This was probably the biggest let-down of the movie. I was quite disappointed when I saw Dooku get his head lopped off after saying only two or three lines. I was probably most disappointed with this because there was a good build up of character for him in AotC. He had a lot of potential. I also thought this duel was very short-lived, for it only lasted around two minutes.

But, as this duel ended I got straight back into joy as Anakin, Palpatine and their luggage (Obi-Wan) made their escape. One of the great things I enjoyed about this was when the ship 'revolved' and they had to climb into the elevator shaft. The enjoyable part of this was that Palpatine, an old man of around sixty to seventy managed the climb easily, he did not need any assistance at all to get to his feet. I wonder why this is... :p

Well, that's it for the first part of my review, it is late tonight and I need my beauty sleep, I will write more... Some day. ;)
