Wha?
I've only just realised it?
Well, no!
It took
Celebration Europe for to make me see what a true geek I am.
Oh and not a cool geek either, simply a geek geek!
Being generally tongue-tied, as clumsy as Ja Jar (almost hitting some poor soul in the Toys R Us Q with my FX Lightsabre box), looking gormless next to the cool celebrities and generally asking celebs weird questions although they didn't sound so stupid until I asked.
But ya know, I don't care. I go back to work Sunday, back to complaining customers (
the auditorium is too hot/cold), complaining staff (
I can't work that shift you gave me) and complaining General Managers (
whatever happens is your fault, remember the barometer of accountability).
For three days in July I was surrounded by my fellow Star Wars fans and enjoyed every single minute of my geekiness.
So, while I go about my business, working in the Cinema, I truly hope there'll be a second
Celebration Europe, so I can be a total geek
all over again
