Hi Guys

Last night I began to read Star Wars 'The Approaching Storm' by Alan Dean Foster.(TAS) (Spoiler ahead). At one point at the beginning of the book Barris Offee is kidnapped by two di-formed thugs. However Barris barters for her release by promising them that she would heal them from their mental injurys. She is released and she as promised heals them. At this point the two thugs have to call in there positions otherwise they'll die.

This is exactly what Anakin had to do as a slave. If he was reported missing or left the planet the sensor on the back of his neck would explode.
Now, what im trying to get is why Qui-gon-Ginn would use the force to deactivate the sensors. He can if he wants to!
In TAS Barris Offee offers to use the force to deactivate the Sensors so the to thugs can live peacefully. Qui-Gon could of done exactly the same to Shmi, so Anakin and his Mum would both be free. But No! Why

Well what I think is that the force was obviously telling him that:
1. The Boy WAS the Chosen One
2. But he would be extremely dangerous and unpredictable
and 3. That Anakin had grown an attachment to his Mother in which Jedi Shouldn't have.
Overall the Force was saying "Leave the Boy Alone"

But Qui-Gon didn't. We learn of Qui-Gon's defience to the council a great deal of times. This time was no different. knowing Anakin had grown an Attachment to his mother didn't bother Qui-Gonn at all. he didn't care. As long as the Chosen One was a Jedi he would be happy.

As Anakin grew up the Jedi Masters were all constantly concerned about the Boy. Mace didn't trust him, Yoda saw much danger in his future and in the Clone Wars Series Oppo Rancisis speaks of how Anakin is repeatedly Disobiedent and unpatient. This is all the Fault of Qui-Gonn who refused to go by the force. As the jedi Code says:
"There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no death; there is the Force"

But in Qui-Gonns Sense it would be:
"There is no peace; there is Selfishness
There is no knowledge; there is ignorance
There is no care; there is only I want to train the Chosen one
And Finally
There is No way this is going to work"

Because of Qui Gonns Defience he has turned that sweet little Ani on Tatooine into a corrupt Killer filled with anger and hate twisted by the dark side.

Its hurts to know that Qui-Gon becomes a Great Jedi Master who teachs Yoda.

So Overall what im trying to say is that if Qui-Gonn went by the Jedi way, he would of deactivated Shmi's Sensor aswell as Anakins and let them be. But instead he persitisted in putting the Galaxy at risk by going against the forces will and training a powerful but dangerous boy.

So today we learnt that doing the Opposite to the Force can go Horribly Wrong and change the Galaxy Forever!
