Hi Guys!!!!!!!

Today is July the 4 which is namely Independence day for the USA (damn it there goes my poetic side again)
Anyway Independence day is an important day for all Americans as it states the day where British, French and United States Colonists all sign a treaty declaring that the U.S of A would be its own independent Country. The Kingdom of Great Britain formally recognized the new country in the Treaty of Paris of 1783. There have been many Independence days in the world some including
Scotlands Independence from England
and
Brazils independence from Portugal

Although, the U.S.A's Indepedence day is much more recognised than each of these they all are important to how the world has been made up of today.

Now, on a SW note the 4th also has a strong meaning; as on 4ABY was the fall of the Empire and rise of Freedom (a.k.a. The New republic).
4ABY is a very memorable date where a number of great things happened where certain actions and events stated a new era of freedom much like U.S.A Independence Day:

1) The Great Jedi Master Yoda dies of Old age. After teaching Luke the ways of the force Yoda becomes One.
2) The Rebels destroy the Death Star 2 virtually ending the Galactic Civil War. The Empire is brought to an end and begins to tear itself apart through warlordism.
3) The Evil Emporer is Killed by none other than his Apprentice
4) Darth Vader returns to the Light and becomes Anakin Skywalker once again. Unfortunately he slowly dies, however is given a traditional jedi cremation.
5) The New Republic is formed and the Rebel Alliance becomes The Alliance of Free Planets. Almost all planets return to the Republic in a state of freedom and are given their own System control.
6) The Jedi Order is restored completly by Luke Skywalker. Peace is Restored to the Galaxy

So Ultimately Today is a Brilliant day both for all Americans and for the Star Wras Galaxy who at 4ABY have declared the Galaxies Independence and freedom by Restoring the Balance and Restoring the New Republic!!
