Earlier I was playing KOTOR and Bastila was talking to my character about the dark side. She was giving my character a lecture basically. How a jedi must always be cautios of the dark side. She was also saying how so many jedi had turned to the dark side. It hit me, I think the reason jedi turn so much is because overly cautios jedi masters. There is real life evidence about pushing so much of something on someone. Some of this I'm not going to get deep into. For reasons I can't explain. If I were being told so often to do something or be careful about something. I would be less careful.

Why?. It's like how sometimes someone is told to drive carefully so many times that they do the exact opposite. Drive less carefully. If you got back from school and you're mother kept on telling you to do you're homework. Who knows what you would do. No one is perfect and the same is with the jedi. So much caution is pushed on to young padawans so much lectures of the dark side and stuff that they become....angry. There sick of it and who can blame them?.

I know I can't. When I was homeschooling I would sometimes hop on my computer and start playing around with stuff. I'm not supposed too and am continuously told not to. That's exactly why I do it so much.

The same is with the jedi. They want something easy like the dark side. The quicker path and the easier path. Not to be a jedi where they are criticized for mistakes or constantly being lectured.
