Blogs Not Make One Great

An apology to legions of dedicated readers
To anyone that has actually read any of this vernacular crap I call a blog, I must sincerely apologize.

For what, you might ask?

For this.

When I first started this silly thing, I fully intended to write close to an entry a day. That is the true nature of a blog, after all, right? While I didn't always succeed, luckily my utter joke of a job at that point made it entirely possible.

If anyone has been following along, they would know that in the past two months my lovely wife and I purchased a home. Well, just so you know, that home was two hours away from everything I was used to for almost twenty years. My wife is from a small town, and that's the type of place we moved to.

Obviously, this required a new job. Fine, my current one was boring and I had spent more time there than I really wanted anyway. Well, wouldn't you know, not only did we luck out with the house, I truly lucked out with my new job. It is definitely the one I can keep for the rest of my life, if I so choose.

Naturally a paid position like that doesn't come without some strings, and in this case those strings include a heckuva lot to learn and major adjustments. One adjustment being the time I spent on this blog. During our transition to our new home and life, that meant no time.

So, I apologize. I really do want to deluge you all with my pointless prose as much as I can, and with many Star Wars goodies coming up (Episode III and Clone Wars volume II on DVD, Insider articles, new games, etc.) there is plenty of opportunity there if I can carve out some time.

Well, maybe an entry a week. How about that? I'll see what I can do, but I don't suppose you care.

Blog on.
