If RainMan Prefered Vader over Wapner...
I have an autistic stepson who is completely nuts about Star Wars. I'm so thankful that that's his thing because we can share this experience together. Tonight at midnight, however, he is going to be freaking out. It will be May 19, and I was only able to get tickets to the 9:30 pm showing for tomorrow night. No one within the sound of his voice will be able to hear anything but "Star Wars: Episode 3. Star Wars: Episode 3. STAR WARS: EPISODE 3!!!!!" I'm afraid after the movie he'll be saying "Hot Lightsaber Burn Jedi!" He will be happy. We'll be happy.

My stepson's name is Michael. He is nine years old and he is autistic. If you don't already know, autism affects the way information is interpreted by the brain. Michael is very bright and very understanding, but things are just "Bigger" to him.
