The anymous henchman in the old days was quite possibly as equally important as any main character. They were there for a jedi to easily cut down, to make them look more powerful. They were there for Darth vader to force choke to dignify his power. Finally, they were there to fall into the sand pit in episode VI. So why you ask, should you salute them? Well this I will tell you.
The anymous henchman of yesterday helped fill up a death star control room or a cantina. Without them, there'd be just 2 or 3 people at a cantina. Without them, we wouldn't see the Death Star's awesome size and power. In the old days it was crucial to cast a number of these no- names in order to show the power or weakness of a character. But today, they are almost long gone. With the age of computers dawning on us and the age of good ol' human power leaving, we don't see to many of these anymous henchman around anymore. But occasionally you'll see a cast title like " angry man" or "tall man". So today, anymous henchman , i salute you!
