Ki-Adi-Mundi. where to begin? well, most of us really know him as the guy who has a huge head. i myslef found myself recognizing him by that when i watched episode 1 in 99'. But now, i see more than his head, i see a very complex character.
Ki-Adi-Mundi was born on the system of cerea. There, Already a boy he was found by a woman who wanted him to be taken to Coruscant. The woman clearly recognized his potential to become a very great jedi. However, his father was at first severyly skeptical and tried to keep ki- Adi at home. Male Cereans are very rare and are supposed to be treated as a very rare soccasion. But, when raiding bandits attacked the home of Ki-Adi and his father his father reluctantly let go of his son and Ki-Adi went to Coruscant. From there, he was trained as a jedi and was the padawan of Yoda. After studying for 21 years he was appointed and recognized as a jedi knight.
Then Ki-Adi returned to Cerea to become it's ambassador and protector. WHile he was there he took on the bandits and discovered that a woman had defeated the old bandit leader. So, Ki-Adi took her on, butlost. he returned to the temple and learned from his encounter. Then he returned and defeated the bandit leader. Soon after the bandit group disbanded and the world was free of crime.
There he stayed for 20 years as the task to keep the world peaceful was growing stronger. This was becasue of a drug that many criminals came to the planet for. There, the criminals corrupted the youth, inflicting pain onto the planet. The threat soon enough was becoming very signifcant. Then, Ki-Adi was aksed to come back to the temple of Coruscant.
There he recieved word of the death of Micah Giett and he was appointed to master. Ki- Adi-Mundi served on the council until his death which came at the end of the clone wars, thanks to order 66.
