A request was made to detail the procedures involved in transporting threads from forum to forum. Although I'm still only a Apprentice Mod Assistant Journeyman-in-Training Level 3, I have occasionally engaged this device under supervision. I'll try to convey this highly technical process with as much deference as possible given to non-technical readers.

To transport a thread between alternate forum realities, you're required first to have undergone rudimentary training in Thread Quantum Particle theory and practice.

A few years ago, Thread Transportation technology was not thought possible due to the Thread Particle Uncertainty Principle (TPUP) , which basically states that it's impossible to accurately scan information in a thread so that it can be dematerialized and re-materialized in a different destination. It was thought that the more a thread is read, the more it is disturbed by the reading process, thereby corrupting the Thread matrix.

Luckily, a paradoxical principle known as the Ens-Burton-Hildalgo effect (EBH) was discovered that allows for reading without actually interacting with information contained in the thread. By reading information from Thread A (the thread to be transported) while causing the unread information to move via the EBH effect into another Thread C while passing through a third Thread B, the destination thread location will never be in actual contact with Thread A. Then one can manipulate the quantum thread state of C into a perfect copy of Thread A prior to reading it. was in before it was scanned. Although Thread A is essentially destroyed by in a blinding display of universe-altering quantum implosion, Thread C is now an exact replica of Thread A.

This thread maniplation is known as the "Ens-Burton-Hidalgo Entanglement Principle of Object Propagation", (EBHPOOP), an idea first proposed in the late 1930s when it was introduced by the Lucas Online content management staff after accidently slipping into a rupture in space-time and re-emerging in an alternate mind-mending reality in the past, forever changing our present timeline with catastrophic, and mostly yet unknown, effects. It was later demonstrated in the 1960's that entangled threads could possibly be used in a practical thread transportation device.

Having understood these principles, it is easy now to see how a thread can be read, but not understood by loading it into a scanning device that completely destroys the original intent of the thread. Once loaded into this device, called affectionately by forum scientists as "the Magic Tour Bus", the thread is completely annihilated, and a new thread is created in a different, alternate forum that is an exact clone of the original. An unfortunate side-effect is that all posters in the original thread are likewise destroyed and replaced with exact replicas.

These thread clones are designed to be superior to the original, with enhanced thread information on military tactics and other martial posting techniques. However, the thread clone is also designed to be more docile, and can not initiate original concepts. What results are perfect threads and posters with unswerving loyalty to the Imperial Moderation Staff, encoded at the quantum particle level with hidden directives that will be deployed when the time is right.

Hopefully I haven't revealed any propietary thread transportation technology secrets by explaining this, but it really is exciting stuff! I personally can't wait for the chance to manipulate the fabric of the space-forum continuum on a daily basis!
