Star Wars Survey Question: Anakin's Padawan
First things first, my apologies for not getting in yesterdays survey question yesterday. I started a project and I couldn't believe how late I worked on it. You know how it is you start something and ten minutes later you clock says it's been four hours? :D

Well, onto the questions:

What is your opinion on Anakin Skywalker having a padawan in the new Clone Wars TV series?

A) What?! Anakin is getting a padawan?! :O

B) This is such a bad Idea! X-(

C) This is a cool idea :D

D) Well, it will be interesting :|

E) Other ?:|

My Answer: At first it was A, and now it's D.

As always, I am very anxious to hear you opinions on this subject. Well, one other question I had is, how did you find out Anakin was getting a padawan?

Till next time,

BlueX

A...at first, but D now. Just like you.

It will indeed be interesting to see how he handles it.

ehh.. 50% B, 50% D. (I guess it's really E, then.) I'm not really sure how this is gonna work out, but it's not gonna be the prettiest thing in the galaxy. It's not exactly going to be doom with a cherry on top either, but it's just not going to be pretty.

It's a mix between C and D. It's cool but also interesting is a lot of ways. I find out this plot point almost one year before it was posted on starwars.com, thanks to a spy report posted on the web.

Dunno about this...D, but border line B. I don't like when they bring in characters that should be monumentally important but are never mentioned anywhere else (cough -Qui-Gon)...

First heard about it here on the website.

I read about it on the "What's New" page over a week ago...

My vote is B, and I've stated it on other blogs.... Anakin having a Padawan is like a 12 year-old having a baby.....a VERY BAD idea...

Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

I definitely have to go with D. It will be very interesting indeed. Most interesting to me - will he "raise" his padawan the way he was raised, or go for a different tactic? Even though Anakin felt Obi-wan was holding him back, I wonder if Anakin really would be critical of the way his mentor raised him. With the shoe on the other foot, Anakin finally might be able to understand the situation from another point of view.

as for how did you find out...?, I learned about it from these here parts, I think in the video that was playing for a while. But . . . my mind is a little foggy. It has been for a while. ;) That's what happens when one is coming out of sickness stupor.

D with a dash of B.

I think it can work - if they do it right.

::In deep Darth Vader voice:: I've been waiting for you Granny-Wan, we meet again at last.

I think it can work - if they do it right.

It's going to be tricky, but I am curious to see how it will work out.

JediMelindaWolf you have some very good points, it will be interesting to see how he raises Ahsoka.

You know, we thought we knew almost everything about Star Wars, and then something like this turns up. Some people are understandably angry. But people thought they knew everything about the universe until Copernicus proved that the Earth goes around the sun.
There's a lot of mysteries in the GFFA.
Maybe we've only scratched the surface so far.

I would answer C & D. It's probably going to be very exciting to see how he handles it.

D. However, it doesn't bode well for her longevity considering she's never been mentioned anywhere else previously. I do think it's probably a bad idea for newly knighted Jedi to start training Padawans, especially when that Jedi is as immature and conflicted as Anakin, but it was probably necessary during the Clone Wars to have as many Jedi (masters, knights, and padawans) available as possible.
