Star Wars Survey Question: RPG
One of these days I'm going to make a real blog. But for now this will have to do. Does anyone around here do RPGs? Well heres todays survey question.

-------------------

When it comes to roleplaying games you...

A) ...Have no idea what I'm talking about

B) ...Think it's a waste of time

C) ...Play it and love it

D) ...Do a little now and then

E) ...Are trying to find a RPG

F) ...Are learning one

G) ...Started to do a RPG but quit

H) ...Other

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

My answer: F and C. (I do believe this is the first time one of my answers hasn't been a D.)

If you do play a role playing game what is it called and how is it played? What time period is it in? Well, thats it for now.

Either C or A, depending on if you call KOTOR a RPG. I don't think it is. Heck, I don't even know what a RPG is! I'm not very tech-savvy.

Sorry about that, RPG stands for Roleplaying Game. I think Star Wars Battlefront I and II are considered RPGs when they're hooked up to the internet and you can play them with other people. I've never played KotOR, but I think if you can play it on the internet it could be considered one. There are (to my knowledge):

Computer/Video Game RPGs

Forum based RPGs

E-Mail RPGs (I know nothing about this format)

I'm sure there are other formats too. I've only done the computer game format and a little of the forum format.

B.

I think God gave us real lives to live and RPG games--"Star Wars" or otherwise--prevent some people from doing so.

Thanks. No need to be sorry, I was just rambling, as usual. ;)

Ah-ha! I see now. In that case, my answer is A. :D

I played an RPG, but it had nothing to do with Star Wars! Does that still count?

Like you said, I do play Battlefront, and it's pretty cool. But like any games, on the internet, that I dont play everyday I usualy get pwned lol.

I'm somewhere between C and D. I started playing Dungeons and Dragons when I was 8 years old, and I played numerous RPGs during middle and high school. My favorites were always D&D, Marvel Super-Heroes, Vampire, and, of course, the old West End Games D6 Star Wars RPG (anyone under 25 probably has no idea what I'm talking about). Since college, I've played a little third edition D&D, but I really only have time for Star Wars RPG now (I've played all 3 WotC editions). Oh, and I loved KotOR!
