Make This Yoda Doll, You Must!
Next up in the series of craft projects I create for the kids section of Starwars.com:
Make Your Own Yoda Felt Doll

It's easy to make, plus it's fun! Just print out the pattern made by our own Star Wars How to Draw artist Cat Staggs and follow the simple instructions!

Try filling one with catnip instead of pillow stuffing and give it to your cat! ;)

We also got a mention on the MAKE magazine blog here! Weeeeee!

Since I want to make this a more regular feature than just monthly, if you have some craft ideas you want me to cover more than others -- like papercrafts, knitting, cross-stitch, woodcrafts, sewing, model making, gardening, pinata design -- whatever -- let me know in these comments! I'd love to hear from you about what kinds of crafts you'd like to see more of on our kids page!

Thanks!

Very cool.

How about encouraging kids to use their Darth Tater parts in real potatoes? It could be a kind of flashback to Mr. Potatohead's early years. (Y'know, back when he smoked.) :p

hey bonniegrll - there was a picture in one of the celebration galleries on the site where two people had on an R2 and an R4 knit cap. got the pattern for that banging around anywhere? im pretty good at doing my own hat patterns, but having it mapped out makes it oh so much easier.
