Make Felucia Flowers for Mother's Day
As the surreal landscape where Jedi Knight Aayla Secura bravely fought for the last time in Revenge of the Sith, Felucia is shown as a planet full of weird fungal lifeforms and gigantic, colorful plants. Many of the plants populating Felucia are partially or completely translucent, so when the sunlight hits their blooms the colors give off a beautiful glow. Now you can make your own unique plantlife with this craft project on Faux Felucia Flowers.

The cool part of creating these fake flowers is that you can make them from almost any material like craft tissue paper, felt, fabric, colorful shopping bags, origami paper, and so on. For big, lush flower blooms use brightly-colored plastic shopping bags. For smaller, denser flowers try using felt. And for fluffy and light blossoms use craft tissue paper.

Remember to make a bouquet of faux Felucia flowers for your mom on Mother's Day. Also try placing them in a Felucia diorama of your own featuring your Aayla Secura action figures!

My mother's name is Felucia!

That's really cool.. I'm afraid my mother wouldn't know what Felucia is... she'd probably think it was some sort of exotic Italian cheese...

No chance my Padawans will make these for me... but at least we can play with the Action Figures....

Really? I don't see why not! These flowers are super-easy to make out of all kinds of materials. I have a vase full of them at home on my desk.

Bonniegirl, my Padawans are boys, and if there's not a large amount of sticky, gluey mess involved they aren't interested in any craft projects...(they are too young for power tools!)
...though the younger one made his mom a picture of flowers made out of Fruit Loops...

I see your point. Well you could always let them use craft glue to decorate it! I do have to say though that when I published the Yoda felt doll craft we got a lot of pictures from boys who actually sewed and made the doll. So ya never know. ;)
