Celebrating Halloween Star Wars Style!
ILM-Lucasfilm Halloween Party
Cardboard robots, DIY monsters, The 5-0-Worst, Marie Antoinette, little superheroes, Serenity kids, Monty Python's Holy Grail Knights and a gigantic Trojan Rabbit danced the night away at the annual ILM-Lucasfilm-LucasArts Halloween Party!

I went as the Bride of Frankenstein. I have to say there were a lot of cool DIY costumes spotted at the Halloween party this year! Plenty of cardboard robots and stormtroopers, but the lifesize (as in GIGANTIC) Trojan Rabbit complete with a gaggle of Monty Python Holy Grail knights won for best costume of the night. Marie Antoinette (all her clothes and wig were handmade) and the gigantic digital camera that took real photos and the Whack-A-Mole with walking mallet also came in as the night's winners.

Check out all the photos here:

Rebelscum.com 2006 Star Wars Costume Winners
Best of the best DIY Star Wars costumes include Gonk made from Rubbermaid bins or the old Kenner Gonk complete with tissue box shoes, trashcan R2-D2, Wat Tambor, LEGO Stormtrooper, a Scout Walker and the cat Ewok!

Check out all the costumes here.

Spooky Star Wars MP3 for Haunted Houses
Even if you don't plan on playing this for the ghosts, goblins and little Dark Lords who come a-knocking, it's still worth a listen. Slip on some headphones and try to imagine what dangers lurk in the swamps of Dagobah, the dungeons of Jabba's palace, the frigid caverns of Hoth, the windswept wastes of Tatooine, or the fiery landscape of Mustafar. Be prepared to jump and watch out for the ill-tempered General Grievous as he emerges from the din of a droid torture chamber.

Check out this free 18-minute sound file just in time for Halloween!

Thanks for sharing Bonnie.

The pic of the Stephen Colbert Green Screen costume is hilarious. That is a creative mind there. Just great.

Wow! That party looks like it was oodles of fun! I must say, I was a fan of the burrito guy...but then again, I always like things that deal with food. ;) Happy Halloween, and thanks for sharing the fun with us!

That mallet seemed to outsize the whackamole game by two fold!

Steven Colbert greenscreen - wow.

But really, judging by the SW costumes in the house, I can see how this is an ILM party - especially with that stunning Boba Fett costume. That's the best Jabba I think I've seen yet. Cardboard stormie and bathrobe Obi Wan are close seconds.

Also impressive: Chinese food, ILM ID cards (as themselves), the stick figure and wow - Marie Antoinette was really neat! Check out that ship!
