Star Wars paper craft models
I love fan-made Star Wars crafts -- especially paper crafts!
We've featured a few paper crafts already on the kids section of StarWars.com:

TIE fighter holiday ornament
Cloud City Diorama
Droidel, Droidel, Droidel

So when I spotted this on ClubJade.net today, I figured I should blog about it:

This site blogs about how to make your own 3-D Star Wars paper models with Pepakura which according to Wiki is defined as:

"Papercraft, or pepakura, is a method of crafting three-dimensional objects out of paper, similar to origami. Papercraft differs from origami in that the final product is usually made from patterns cut out from paper and held together with glue ... Using software such as PePaKuRa Designer from Tama software, it is possible to import and convert 3D polygon models from various sources, making it easier to design and create your own papercraft models ... Since papercraft patterns can be easily printed and assembled, the Internet has become a popular means of exchanging them."

Here are the different models you can print out and make:
Stormtrooper
Clone trooper
Commando Clone Trooper
Boba Fett
Darth Vader

The papercraft is blogged about on this great site called TOYSREVIL, which you should check back and read often for interesting toy news and features!

Let's not forget one of the greatest uses for paper models - creating environments for your WOTC SW minis...see http://www.swminiatures.com.

I'm not good at that sort of thing, it would be faster for me to make one out of wood. Maybe I'll do that some time...

They are neat, aren't they? I'm actually tempted to make one, for once.
