Woman changes her name to -- Anakin

Apparently a woman in Boston who couldn't stand that her name was Laura Ingalls Wilder Michele decided to change it to Anakin Steuart Michele.

Claiming that she was calling herself "Anakin" long before Star Wars fans embraced it as the birth name of Darth Vader, the 23-year-old architect says it's more relevant to who she is.

date Posted: Oct 14, 2005 3:02 AM If she's 23 it's not possible that she embraced the name before it become part of the SW lore. Anakin first appears in ROTJ, which is 1980. She was 2 years then. It's utterly impossible that she was aware of names, before reaching year 2 of her life.
