I got an idea! Let's have an argument about the political correctness of the term "Life Day"!

But seriously folks, this time of the year is about spreading the love around. This argument of "Christmas" versus "Holidays" is getting out of hand! Every time I look in the paper or on the TV news there is something about it. It is all people write about in the Opinion pages. My friend came up to me and said "Did you hear about the psycho hippies at the ACLU who want to outlaw Christmas?" Hey, fair game. The fundies have been trying to ban Halloween forever and renaming it "Harvest Festival".

I saw Wookies in my sleep last night, which either means an unhealthy fascination for hairy things, or this whole Star Wars festive business is getting out of hand (then again it might have been all that out-of-date cheese I ate).
Just so you know Bonnie, GL has sent bounty hunters out to get you. The bounty on your head is currently 400 credits, but it rises every time you think the words `Holiday Special' or `What Can You Get a Wookie for Christmas (When he Already Owns a Comb?)

I'm with you, SOB. I think it's mostly the media magnifying the occasional trivial silliness ("holiday trees"?) and the rare instances that are actually questionable (anything restricting individuals from saying "Merry Christmas") - they know it gets people talking, so they keep airing it (Rupert Murdoch, anyone?).
