Today I saw a great movie that I haven't seen in a long time. It's called "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" and it stars Michael Caine and Steve Martin as a couple of con artists. It has some downright hilarious moments and anyone who has not seen it should check it out. Frank Oz, who we all know as Yoda, directed the film. What's more, the film features Ian McDiarmid as Caine's "butler." I hadn't seen the film in a long time, and I had never noticed before that he was in the movie, since I'd only ever seen him in ROTJ, in full Emperor make-up. Anyway, it's cool to see a young McDiarmid playing scenes with Steve Martin and Michael Caine, especially with the knowledge that he's being directed by Frank Oz. I wonder if Ian would throw senate pods at poor Frank if he got frustrated between takes!
