Has Jango been to Bespin?

I was watching Empire the other night and I noticed something very interesting. The Cloud City guards have the same kind of gun that Jango uses in Attack of the Clones. Jango was a mercenary, so I wonder if he got his sidearm from one of those such guards. Does anyone who is familiar with the EU know of a connection, or is this just a coincidence?

Since Jango was one of those big shot bad guys, he has probly had many bountys. So it is possible that he could have had a bounty were he had to go to bespin. But what about this, Jango goes on the bounty hunt and he makes an ally there. The ally tells Jango that there are gangs on bespin that raid the city. So Jango just happens to have about 50 more of those nice shiny blasters of his that never even helped him, and he gives them to his ally.
Then around the time of Empire, their still using them.

Jango had his Westar 34 dual blasters custom made from Westar weaponry. im sure he had enough money to buy custom blasters. Its possilble he has been to bespin, im sure there are enough bountys on cloud city to fill, well ....a city. I think Lando brought those gaurds into commision and jango was before landos time. the blaster look vaguely like Jangos, but i dont think they are the same
