Like most SW fans, I've been on and off collecting the little SW Hasbro figures for as long as I can remember. Well, a few years back a friend of mine got me into collecting the 12" figures-- something about the scale, likeness, and pose-ability made them so appealing to me and I was ready to make the jump from the little 3" figs to the big 12" ones. Only thing was that Hasbro's 12" line of SW figures looked a tad bit... well, lame is the word I guess. So I collected non SW stuff (but still movie based) from Hong Kong and Japan like the Blade Runner and Matrix toys. Then, fast forward to San Diego Con 2005 and Siedeshow announces they are taking over Hasbro's 12" line and coming out with stuff in the new year. And they look awesome! They're a little expensive but I don't mind paying a little bit if the quality is going to be that good-- only problem is that it seems like they are announcing a new figure every two weeks! So now, I'm hoping that either they slow down a little so I can catch my breath or that they just start putting out crappier stuff and I won't care ( I doubt either one will happen though). Oh well....
