Remember
this entry, when I showed you all the posters, prints and siggies from CIV and CE?
Well, I have finally got the remaining prints framed up, and not only that, but I have found a cheap and effective way to give your collection that professional touch
Ever wanted glass display cabinets, but balked at the price?
Me too. I saw one for $300, and wanted it, but knew that one wouldn't be enough - then what did good old IKEA go and do?
Answered my plea - that's what.
The cabinets in the photos below cost $59 each and look tres spiffy. They are called DETOLF (an ancient Swedish name which comes from the roots DE, meaning 'minor' and TOLF, meaning 'Sansweet').
Anyhoo, here's what they look like.
One side of the display (Darth Kerfuffle is finally glad he can see books on his library shelves and not Unleashed figures)
The other side of the display.
Close up of the beautiful
Leia print. Pidluk chose the red steel frame, great choice!
Close up of the framed
Matt Busch print, plus the Order 66 piccie - cool
The
Celebration Europe print finally framed - well I like it
And just for good measure, we finally got one of
my own paintings framed - this is a street scene from the island of Burano, just off Venice, where Pidluk and I foolishly declared our love for each other about 8 years ago.
She's regretted it ever since.
There you go. See you tomorrow for a
Dork Side
