Just another manic Monday,

Character Week

Normally it would be about that time to get FX-9 and the other droids working on a new character week, however, I am shifting it to next week as I have quite a bit on my plate at the moment.

However, just as a heads up, HAL Week will commence next Monday.

HAL Week, nob? Aren't you confusing your films a little there, old chum?

Aha and aho!
HAL is an unbelievably clever acronym in the same vein as SINBAD (Single Income No Bird And Desperate) - which reminds me..

Getting back to the point.

HAL stands not for Han and Leia Week (sorry ladies, but this one is for my homies) - instead, HAL stands for Hot Alien Ladies. That way I can wax lyrical about Aayla, Oola and Gragra (and any others that spring to mind).

Consider this advance warning for any Hot Alien Limericks that pop into your noggin

Jokin'

It's good to see that Stooge is on the mend. It's a bit troubling when I find myself re-prioritizing my life functions (i.e. breathe, drink, eat, sleep, look at Stooge gag, go to toilet).

To welcome him back (and also in celebration of Oboe-Wan's recent fame in Lightsabre), I would like to offer a joke known in these here parts as a variation on a classic.

Jar Jar Binks waddles into Gragra's store and says, "Yousa got any gooberfish?"

"No", answered Gragra.

Jar Jar sadly leaves. A little later he returns and asks, "Yousa got any gooberfish?"

Gragra replies,
"No! Like I told you fifteen minutes ago -- I don't have any gooberfish!"

Jar Jar leaves.
Fifteen minutes later he's back again, asking, "Yousa got any gooberfish?"

In a real snit now, Gragra yells,
"No I don't have any poodooing gooberfish! You come back in here again, I'll nail your webbed feet to the floor!"

Later that day Jar Jar comes back and asks Gragra, "Yousa got any nails?"

"NO!" shouts Gragra.

Jar Jar replies, "Good! Yousa got any gooberfish?"

Blogalots

If you'll recall viagoangel2's recent blockbuster, Deej and the others are trying to get some arrangements made regarding bloggers meeting up at C IV. If you haven't sorted yourself out a My Space page, it would be worth thinking about doing so!

Anyhoo, my contributions are generally of a cartoony nature, so I have created a little group of semi-recognizable characters known as 'Blogalots' - these little critters can adorn any items, tags, t-shirts etc as is shown here: Basic Blogger T-shirt Design.
They are customizable, as shown here on a possible nob01 shirt, or on this alternative design. As you can see, I went for a slight retro look, reflecting the 30th Anniversay.

I am open to any suggestions if you want any particular blogalot characters created (as I have stated many times before, yes, I am that lovely, and modest too) - and feel free to contact me if you want psd fils or jpegs of any or all of the characters to create your own designs.

I would recommend that you make sure your blog name is on there somewhere though - we want to know who it is trying to buy us a drink.
