I just wanted to say that I love toys. LOVE 'EM! I am a grown man and I will not be snobby enough to call them "collectibles" or "action figures". They're toys and I love them.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to Lamar, CO (about an hour east) to visit my family. They have a Burger King, I don't. So I waltzed right in there with my sister and said "Do you guys have any of the Star Wars toys?"
"We do."
"How much are they?"
"$1.06 each."
"What do you have?"
"I don't know."
"Could you look?"
And thus, the counterperson and her manager proceeded to locate every different toy they could find. They even pulled toys out of the already pre-packed bags for the kids meals. I am a horrible human being, but they're kids, they'll get over it. They only found about 12 different ones, but I was thankful for what they found and I paid for them and I left. I later got lunch at Taco Johns. Is that bad, that I used BK as a toy store and purchased food at another facilitator of greasy fried goodness? I think not. They got my money.

So, that's the story of how I got my few Burger King toys of Star Wars. I don't think I'll go out of my way to get the others, this was just something I needed to do to satisfy my geekdom. One of my co-workers got Mace, which I did not have, and gave him to me, prompting me to write this blog.

I love toys. I love them good...
