CONvergence Minneapolis 2009

Had a great time at CONvergence Minneapolis 2009 -- the four-day event covering comics, science, sci-fi, fantasy, costuming, anime, and a hundred other topics. It's fun yet exhausting for all involved.

Creature effects school

A lot of fans have written to me asking about a good school for creature effects. It is critical info for budding movie makers and model builders hoping to be the next generation of Star Wars techies.

Bantha! I want!

I would want to go to the Fan Club Breakfast at Comic-Con even if I were not so lucky as to be the host. But when I saw the Bantha by Bonnie Burton being offered for a raffle prize, I knew I definitely would NOT miss the event for anything.
