WHOO HOOO...What a good time!!! They had a great line up of guests there and a good size crowd

Friday night...Cynthia and I picked up Kevin Baker, Kenny's son, who is the coolest bloke to hang with (even if he is English ), and I tried to take them to see Serenity...but we missed it by 25 minutes...the only thing left was Domino....I don't just want my 2 hours back...I want 2 years back for that!!! But it was made up for when we got back to the hotel...Kenny and his girlfriend Val were sitting in the bar..so we all sat down and chatted...next thing i see someone out of the corner of my eye coming towards the table...so I looked over...and i think my heart literally was in my throat....CARRIE FISHER!!!! She was coming over to say hi to Kenny....she was coming over!!!! I have not been that star struck in YEARS!!! I don't think Cynthia and I said a word...I think I forgot how to talk.

Saturday started with a bang!! There was a huge line of people waiting to get in...and when they did it was a mad house. We were set up across the hall way form the autograph room and right next to the C2 Ventures table (they have all the official Star Wars photos that folks are purchasing to be autographed). So we had a captive audience!! It was great!!


SUNDAY!!! Sunday was just as crowded as Saturday. It was great. The people could not have been nicer. It was a really great crowd all weekend. I was sketching some cards of Carrie as Leia for some very cool guys when I saw out of the corner of my eye someone looking at me as I was drawing....I look up and it was Princess Leia...I drew so hard she came to life....

She was so awesome....on Saturday she was dressed as a Jawa..and won the costume contest. Sadly I forgot my camera on Saturday. Left the damn thing in the hotel!!!


The all of a sudden is was last call for Carrie Fisher.....we ran across the convention center and hopped in line....while waiting for our turn...the littlest wookiee was having a chat with the princess...

Then it was my turn....HOLY COW!!!! It is CARRIE FISHER!!!!

I passed along a sketch card portrait of Leia to her. And she was very gracious and thanks me for it. I, in turn asked her to sign one for me (along with my trilogy box.....such a geek! - only money I spent on stuff at the con...worth every penny!!!)

One card will Rule them all!!!

I collected Kenny and Peter for the box as well, which is pretty cool...I am making up for the being chained to the table at C3. I was also given a cast photo from Time Bandits and Kenny was kind enough to sign it for me...That has to be one of my all time faves. On our way yo dinner Sunday night, Kenny and Val rode with Cynthia and I. He told us stories from Time Bandits.....It was awesome!!!
