37 years of THX 1138!
Thou art a subject of the divine, created in the image of man, by the masses, for the masses.........

Since I have looked through the Internet and found no mention of it, I decided to post this rare blog entry.

Today, 37 years ago, George Lucas released his first film, THX 1138. It was a well-received movie, by critics at least, as it has a 89% on Rotten Tomatoes. It was a film that showed a Orwellian type future, where the government is controlling everyone with drugs. Yet, when two people do not take their drugs, a love story, baffling torture and an interesting chase scene follow it. If you have not seen it yet, direct yourself to the nearest wall and bash your head in. After, go watch it. Trust me, it will make your head feel better. Plus, you see where George Lucas started from.

If your head still hurts, take four red capsules, In 10 minutes take two more. Help is on the way.

"What's wrong?"

Great movie - and one of the few whose latter day digital "updates" I didn't mind so much. Robert Duvall and the late lamented Donald Pleasance.

Is he ever going to go back to making these kinds of movies?
