Ancient History
I decided the other day to try and reread the entirety of the Tales of the Jedi and ancient Republic EU, just for ####s and giggles. Here it is, Thursday, and I was succesful. I read the 35 issues of Tales of the Jedi (the 7 mini series), Jedi vs. Sith, and the recent "Great Hunt" story from Tales # 23. Unfortunately, I'm headed for my cousin's wedding in Texas in a few hours, and don't have time to really voice my opinion (I hadn't read Veitch and Anderson's so-called epic in quite a long time, so it was almost like reading them again for the first time). I'll go into more detail perhaps on Sunday but suffice it to say...

...Jedi vs. Sith might be the most underrated Star Wars comic out there. It's absolutely breathtaking. Meanwhile, I found the Tales of the Jedi series to be practically unreadable. I promise I'll back up these statements later.

I'm glad you like Jedi Vs Sith, it's my second favourite comic story, recently topped by Obsession. A year or two ago I posted a review of it on the Dark Horse message boards, and shortly after that it was posted on this sitehttp://www.timelineuniverse.net/ReviewsArchive.htm#Jedi%20vs.%20Sith.

Hope you agee with my review. I love the current Republic series, but I'm always drawn to Tales of the Jedi when I'm stuck for a read, and Jedi Vs Sith absolutely rocks.

I'll have to get around to rereading Jedi Vs. Sith. I remember not being too impressed by it the first time I read it.

What can I say? The touch of KJA is like literary acid. Not the good kind.
