The garbage disposal.... And a unlikely hero
So there our hero's are, in the detention block blasting it out with the Imperials. There is seemingly no hope of escape. The brave princess grabs a blaster, zaps a hole in a plate and dives into the unknown, soon followed by our other hero's... Into The Garbage Disposal.

Once there, they soon discovered they were not alone as luke is attacked and dragged under the Brackish water...Or so it would seem. I put it to you that our slimy tentacled friend was in fact trying to save our heroes, knowing that soon they would be crushed; this unlikely hero try's to drag them to a underwater access panel so they can swim to safety. How is this brave soul rewarded? He is hit repeatedly and blasted till finally, knowing that time has run out he makes good his own escape.
Oh no, gentle reader, this brave soul is simply just the good Samaritan of waste, he is also a staunch rebel, for it is he who aides the Bothans in attaining the plans to the Death Star (after literally picking the garbage). Ask your self, how did this creature get there? Is he standard Imperial issue? No dear friend, it is through Gutts and shear force of will that he managed to sneak on the Death Star. This Selfless creature never asked for payment, never asked for recognition, what he did, he did for the Republic.
You may ask your self, if you are young, how did the rebellion repay this being for his bravery... well Friend, they blew him up with the Death Star... Now that is thanks for you.
