Why the Death Star Conference room scene is Science Fiction...
We all know the scene, all the officers sitting around the table, Vader and Tarkin come in, Vader strangles Imperial Commander but it is sublime science fiction, and this is why...

1. Most Corporations are business Causal, not one of those guys is in a poloshirt ( And in the case of the Tech team, a free polo shirt from a vender)
2. No cell phones ringing, no matter how important a meeting, in the real world someone always leaves their cell phone on so everyone in the room will here it ring and see how important they are.
3. No Power point presentation....come on people... It aint a meeting without a power point presentation!!!
4. No agenda, any class on project management will tell you that the key to a productive meeting is a good agenda, and they go way off topic, Im guessing the whole "Strangling people" didn't appear as a bulleted item.
5. No white board...NO white board.
6. No bobble headed people... you know, the people who shake their heads yes and no to look like they understand everything and they know more then the person talking, despite the fact of being only aware of their current high score on Mine Sweeper.

So having some experience in Cubmanity and dealing with the Cubeman race I can tell you this science is as science fiction as entering hyperspace.
