I took my 7 year old to a Pokemon tournament this weekend that also heralded a new release of cards. He loved it, he is still getting the hang of it but Pokemon is rapidly taking over all other things in his life. When we were leaving we began talking, he insists on knowing what your favorite Pokemon is ? Who do you like better? Who is the most powerful? In a way ( and this is a reference that will be lost on you younger folk) he reminds me of Sniffles the mouse from the old Warner Brothers cartoons.

As we walked along we began talking about how cool Star Wars Pokemon would be and proceeded to begin naming some like Artoodichu, Chewiechar, Sololax, Tusktwig, Skittywalkatar and what have you. Things started silly and went down hill from there.
