Well my youngest was as sick as the preverbal dog on Thursday into Friday, couldn't even hold down water so I worked half a day, came home and took over the care duties from my wife. The little guy was able to eat starting that night and is fine now.

Saturday was Soccer, and Team Pictures. It would make you proud how many kids were running around swinging make-believe light saber's in a epic battle as they waited for their turn in front of the photog. The game itself turned out to be one of my favorite games this year. The boys were getting trounced, at the end of the half it was 2-0 and all of them were pretty dejected, one boy said "We'll never catch up" and another said "My team never wins" (we divide into two teams and play on two fields each game) all seemed really down. All I could do was repeat my mantra, "the game wasn't over and all I ask is you do your best, win or loss, do your best".

Well wouldn't you know it, 5 minutes into the next half it was a tie game and the boys were on fire. You should have seen their faces, even when the other team went up again a few minutes latter, they kept at it and ended up winning 4-3. The boy who said they would never win ended up scoring 2 of the goals!! It was a blast.

Saturday night we went and saw Appaloosa, a good movie, I liked it allot. It had some truly memorable lines. Made me think of a like scenario for my SWRPG game. I also put some time into WH Online and had some good times with that.

Sunday was good, as I try to gear up for my First Den Meeting tonight. I am the new Wolf Den Leader, It's a little tough because its like the old leaders are all into the Weblos now and that is where their focus is. I have had a tough time, relying mainly on the online courses and the stuff I can get at the Scout store...but the Cub's have a Motto "Do your Best" and that's what I'll do.
