Timeline/Continuity issues: Entry #3: Closterphobia in Month 30
Those of you have visited my Clone Wars Timeline over at The Unofficial Clone Wars Site may be scratching your heads over some recent changes I made. Allow me to explain:

The issue:

If official Timeline placements given on inside covers of books and comics are to be believed all of the following should take place at approx. 30 months after the Battle of Geonosis:

Jedi Trial
Yoda: Dark Rendezvous
Anakin's Knighting
Clone Wars 22: scenes 1-3
Boba Fett #5: A New Threat
Boba Fett #6: Persuit
Republic #69
Republic #70
Republic #71
Republic #72
Republic #73

My solution: I don't see any way that all of the above can take place within the course of a single month, let alone within the course of a few days.

Therefore, in my Timeline I have kept only Jedi Trial, Yoda: Dark Rendezvous, and Anakin's Knighting at 30 months ABOG.

I have moved Clone Wars 22: scenes 1-3, Boba Fett #5: A New Threat, Boba Fett #6: Persuit, Republic #69, Republic #70, Republic #71, Republic #72, Republic #73 to the range of 30.5 - 31 months ABOG

However, doing that made Month 31 too crowded. So I moved Clone Wars 22: scene 4, and Obsession 1-5 from the 30.5 - 31 months ABOG range where it had been originally to the range of 31.5 - 32 months ABOG.

So in closing, my Timeline placements do not coincide with the placements in the inside covers of the various books and comics, but I have moved things in a way that makes logistical sense and gives all of the events in that area more room to breathe.

In the words of Matt Stover:
"This ain't your daddy's rebellion, bucko. It's the Clone Wars. Get ready."

P.S. Stay tuned for my review of Revenge of the Sith. I saw the movie last night, and as soon as I get my review written up I will post it here and on The Unofficial Clone Wars Site.
