So, the Clone Wars are over. As soon as the current story arcs DarkHorse is working on are finished, it will be all over and there will be no new Clone Wars stories ever. Sure Republic #76-77 and Grievous #3-4 still have to come out. And of course there is the DVD/TPB/Paperback releases of various stories that have already come out. But after that it will be over and there will be nothing new. As I sit back and take this in a tear comes to my eye. It slowly dawns on me that there are no Clone Wars stories left to tell. It's all over.

.....
NOT!!!
The Clone Wars are far from over. There is still plenty of room left for more stories. There are many months that have no documented battles, so many references to battles that were never expanded upon, so many characters that can be explored further. There are several new stories already planned.
Let's take a look at the upcoming Clone Wars stories that have been announced:
September 2005
Clone Wars Adventures: Volume 4
As the Clone Wars burn across the galaxy and the true intentions of the Sith are revealed, the true heroes of the conflict emerge. Chewbacca leads the Wookiees against the Republic invaders on the jungle world of Kashyyyk, R2-D2 and C-3PO uncover a plot to assassinate Padmé, an orphaned refugee witnesses the rough life of a Clone Trooper firsthand, and Anakin Skywalker fights alongside a young Jedi who will play a part in his descent into the Dark Side.
Republic #81
The Separatist attack on the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyyk demands a strong response from the Republic, and Jedi Masters Luminara Unduli and Quinlan Vos arrive with their clone armies. But there may be more behind the Separatist attack-and more to the Wookiee's defense-than the Jedi know.
Old friends, new enemies, and lots of action!
November 2005
Republic #82
December 2005
Republic #83
March 2006
Republic Commando: Triple Zero
As the Clone Wars casualties mount, the commandos find themselves deployed on increasingly dangerous missions that take them beyond the battlefield and further into sabotage and intelligence operations in the heart of Separatist territory. Newly-promoted Jedi Generals Etain Tur-Mukan and Bardan Jusik are also catapulted into front line combat roles and find themselves identifying strongly with the clone soldiers under their command, who turn out to be anything but predictable cannon fodder.
Omega Squad survives a close brush with disaster to end up in the most potentially dangerous hot spot in the galaxy - pursuing a Separatist terror group in the skylanes and underworld of Coruscant itself, known as Triple Zero in the Grand Army's slang because its galactic chart co-ordinates are 000. And, as any soldier knows, urban operations on your own turf can be the most deadly of all. So it's just as well that Omega Squad find themselves working with Delta Squad, and teamed up again with Etain and Jusik - as well as their legendary training sergeant Kal Skirata, and his secret military intelligence unit of "Null" ARC troopers, the black ops team that even the Kaminoans thought were too dangerous to unleash. It's a critical mission unlike anything any of them have ever tackled - and it tests their friendship and courage to the limit.
