Wow, I have to say today turned out a little differently than I expected. I went into work this morning at 7 am and was told that I would probably only be working until 11 or 12 today, but I ended up having to work this afternoon too. The other girl who usually comes in was sick today so I had to stay because there was no one else who could come in. I have to say that it isn't that bad though. I am working at a kennel right now and the hours there are not entirely filled with things to do. There are sometimes hours in which there is very little to do. We have certain times in the day that we have to feed the animals and a cleaning routine everyday that doesn't really take more than 2 1/2 hours.

Another thing is that the hours are a little strange. We come in at 7 in the morning and then leave at about 12:30 and do not come back until about 3 o'clock and then stay until 6 pm. Then someone has to come in at around 9 at night every night to let the dogs go out for about an hour or so and then bring them back in and give them all a treat. Well, today I got to come in all three times which takes up a significant chunk of the day. I do have to say that I have really enjoyed this job so far though. It is nice to have a job where I work with dogs and cats most of the day.

Well, I have to go in to work at 7 again tommorrow morning so I should probably go to bed soon. I have probably said enough for today anyway.
