What a Day!
Today is probably going to be one of the longest days of my life. As I have mentioned before I am not going to be able to go to the midnight screening but will be going to an early showing at 10:00 am on Thursday. But that just leaves me with another full day to wait to see ROTS. I have been waiting, as have many others, for several years for this movie to come out. I guess I'll just have to find a way to pass the time until than. I do have to stay home today for most of the day because I am having a couch delivered this afternoon. Yesterday, my brother mentioned that maybe we could watch Episode I and II today. Maybe I will take him up on that offer.

I actually like Episodes I and II fairly well. Quite honestly Jar Jar did not even bother me in TPM. I have liked all the prequels and I think that ROTS will only make me like them more. But, don't get me wrong, I am not someone who loves Star Wars only for the prequels. I love the original films as well and still watch them whenever I get the chance. It is so nice to now have them on DVD. Sometimes the videos I have did not want to play right in the VCR. Also, when I would go home to my parents house my Dad has some very old copies of the movies on video that don't always play very well, but they do have the movies as they were probably originally shown in the theater. The changes to the original trilogy don't really bother me that much to begin with. I mean, they are George Lucas's movies and who am I to tell him that he cannot change anything about them. Besides, I think most of the changes really don't effect how the original story is told very much. Maybe a few things are a little bit of a stretch, but for the most part I think the additions have just added to the films.

Well, I guess I have rambled on here for long enough today. I will probably add some more ramblings here tommorrow, probably after I have seen a certain movie that we have all been waiting for.
