Okay, I have been noticing that ever since ROTS came out in theaters there have been people who have questioned whether or not Mace Windu actually died. The arguement that I have seen the most is that as a Jedi Master Mace should have been able to survive the force lightning and the fall that he had out the window. I'm not really sure he could have survived that fall or not, but I don't think it really matters.

In my opinion, there should not really be a question as to whether Mace is dead or not. I think that the audience is intended to see this as Mace's death. A lot of times we tend to look for things that aren't there or make things more complicated than they are meant to be. It is an interesting idea to speculate about such things though.

That's just my opnion on the subject. Anyone who wants to is free to continue the debate if they wish. I'm not really sure if many people have really thought that much about this though, but I do remember seeing somewhere someone question whether Mace really died . I'm not really sure exactly where though.
