I must say that when it rains it pours. Today was just a terrible day for me. I went to work today at 7 am and when I was getting ready to leave at around noon, the car wouldn't start. I had not left any lights on or anything, but it was just as if the battery had died. By the time I was leaving work, there was no one who there who could jump the car. My brother had just went out of town for a few days and I couldn't think of anyone close enough who could help me. So, I had to wait until almost 3 pm for the other girl to come back to work. Luckily I was able to stay inside the kenneI while I waited. I was able to get the car jumped and then go and get the battery checked on and waited for at least two hours until the mechanic told me that it was probably not the battery, but something else causing the problem. I'm sure hope the alternator didn't go out again, because I just had that replaced about 6 months ago!

To top it all off, when I finally made it home the roof was leaking right over my bed in my apartment. I have tried to get something done about the roof several times before, but the last time that the roof leaked was months ago and the maintenance guy the landlord sent over said that sometimes leaks happen in weird places and never happen again. Well, it happened again now and now maybe I can finally get the people to come do something about it. I honestly think that the place needs a new roof. This is not the first time we have had problems with a leak. There was a problem with a leak in the other bedroom a little over a year ago and I have never witnessed it myself, but I am almost certain that it sometimes leaks in the kitchen. I have found water on the counters sometimes when there should not have been any.

Anyway, that is the horrible mess that my day was. Most of it was spent waiting to find out what was wrong with my car. I actually never got home until almost 6 o'clock. I guess now I need to call my landlord in the morning. I hope they don't take a week to get around to coming by to at least check on the problem.
