Okay, have you ever felt like you have lost your mind because you bought so many Star Wars collectables over such a short period of time. I have always been a fairly casual collector of a few Star Wars items. The first purchase of what could be considered a Star Wars collectable would be the Interactive R2-D2 (see picture). After that I kept an eye on Star Wars collectables. I had been intrigued by the Force FX Lightsabers from Master Replicas ever since I first saw that they had made the Anakin Skywalker one for Episode II. I did eventually buy the Mace Windu. But ever since April 2 of this year I think I have gone on a buying binge, at least for me. I am sure there are a lot of people who have bought a lot more items than me since then, but until then, I really had not bought that many Star Wars items in such a short time.
I remember on April 2nd, I went to Wal-mart just to see what things they had to offer. I ended up buying the Plug-and-Play with ROTS games that day and my brother bought the Jedi and Sith posters for ROTS that can be almost like one large poster when put together. I later went back and bought these posters for myself. I had already preorder the ROTS novelization and the Making of ROTS from Amazon.com so I did not buy them at Wal-mart that day. I was back in Wal-mart again the next day for some reason and on an impulse I bought the Call Upon Yoda interactive toy. A few days later I bought the graphic novel. I would then give in and buy the Trivial Pursuit DVD game.
After that I did okay for a short while, but then came Celebration III. I did not get to attend Celebration III, although I had thought very seriously about going. I have ended up buying several items that were available at Celebration III from shop.starwars.com, including the Talking Vader with Star case, a t-shirt, and a poster. On top of that I have bid and won some items that were given out at Celebration III on E-bay. One of the items being the red wrist-band that was given out. I did not pay a great deal for any of the items I won on E-bay, but I probably spent more than I should have. Then I did eventually end up ordering the Sovenir Movie Guide. Also, I ended up ordering the Anakin Skywalker Force FX lightsaber for Episode III.
Another thing that I have been doing is trying to collect all three of the lightsaber spoons that have been given out in cereal boxes. This has not been going very well. All five of the lightsaber spoons that I now have are red. My family and me have joked around about this saying someone's trying to tell me something, but all I can say about that is

. Oh well, I guess its not the end of the world if I don't get the blue and green ones.
Well, I think that is about all of my Star Wars craziness for the moment. I have really went all out in buying items related to this movie lately and I have probably now begun an obsession may continue. Its funny how I had always thought of myself as a somewhat casual Star Wars fan, now I don't really know. Not that I'm ashamed or anything.
