Ok, it is a little young for me, but it's Star Wars and "Anything goes... (etc, etc, etc, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom)" I read
Legacy of the Jedi, which was interesting. See
Han Solo, and (This is totally unrelated) Count Dooku *WARNING* book spoilers where I discuss a *big* question that I had too have an answer to, plus a book review.
So, Legacies starts with Count (Thadeus? see above link) Dooku and *Go over to my bookshelf with approximatelty 7 1/2 feet of pure Star Wars* the Temple era and goes to.. (let's see..) the Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan era. It shows the very beginnings of the Dark Side in Count Dooku. How he was betrayed as a 12-year-old.
Of course, it mentions Xanatos in the now-rare Jedi Apprentice series (anyone know where they are selling it? I think it is out of print. Great series.) The story basically follows the person who betrayed Dooku.
You can find a copy at
Borders.
So, I continue on my Star Wars journey with "Secrets of the Jedi"
ALERT TO LUCASFILM!!! CARGOBAY NEEDS SERIOUS UPDATING!!! LOTS OF STUFF UP TO ABOUT APRIL 2006!!! YOU DROPPED OUT ON US STAR WARS COLLECTORS!!!!
Just a little note. There are six books in the Last of the Jedi series and this site only has the first four. That is kinda annoying.
It starts later than Legacy, the Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan era, and goes on to the Obi-Wan and Anakin era.
It cirlces around Obi-Wan/Siri love and, later, Anakin/Padme love. It keeps talking about the story of the person who betrayed Dooku.
This book is still in-print (see "Borders" link), and, I say, if you have a six year old - ten year old, you might want to let them try this duology.
The book I linked to actually has another story in the back, looks short, but took me a while to read. It follows a favor Obi-Wan did for Owen and Beru. Owen is a little bit tetchy. For some reason he won't talk to Obi-Wan. I have no idea why. Any ideas?
MTFBWY!
