The Clone Wars
I finally got around to watching the clone wars movie, and I must say it's not exactly a master piece. The announcer voice thing instead of an opening crawl was really annoying, but most troubling, John Williams wasn't in charge of the sound track, and though I have never questioned his skill and importance to Star Wars, seeing a movie without his music really shows how crucial he really was to making Star Wars. The sound is half the experience, or so I've heard.

In other news, I'm finished with the army, my year was over six weeks ago. If you do the math, I was six weeks short of a full year, but the budget wouldn't allow for me and my comrades to stay any longer, so I'm really, really (not) sad. (Technically, I was on leave the last six weeks). Hours before the bus would take me to the airport I received my last assignment. The day before, some guys went out for a drink. Someone had as a result puked all over the toilet (except actually in it). The culprit had left early to catch a flight, leaving me with the great honor of cleaning up the mess. The lieutenant told me it was a great honor, at least.

Ah, the memories, like the time me and my company was stuck in a blizzard in the middle of nowhere. The wind knocked me off my feet several times too. The entire battalion was mobilized and ready to rescue us when the weather cleared, so we had to walk back.

I'm left with a lot of experience, about a months pay, my army boots and a medal. I didn't get to keep my rifle, even though I asked nicely. Can you believe that?

MTFBWY!
