This is my first blog entry in months. Mostly because I haven't figured out anything to write about. Then, for some reason, my brother orders a SW Lego online, and next thing you know, we're sitting in my room building it. It's been a even longer time since I played with legos, you know those small plastic things that you can connect with each other to build a fort or spaceship or whatever, the only limit is your fantasy. I have several crates of it in my basement, awaiting the day when I get off my lazy behind and start a family, getting kids who then have to grow old enough to not just eat the lego.

What I found fasinating about the new lego, is that there are so much new parts that didn't exist back in the day. Special parts with specific purpouses so the lego imitation of the model can look as real as possible. I used to build the millenium falcon out of old lego with no instructions or anything. Sure, it didn't look like the millenium falcon, it had no roof, but that's nothing a little imagination can't fix.

Anyway, my brother and I built this thing with child like enthusiasm and after a short time, the LAAT Republic Gunship was there, with crew and Jedi, Clone Commander Cody, Random Clonetrooper, Obi-Wan, Plo Koon and Asaaj Ventress. This model was based on the clone wars televison series. And I noticed that it was kind of heavy, and not that solid either, I was able to lift it mere inches off the table before the part I was holding seperated itself from the rest which fell back to the table, luckily, it hadn't built up enough kinetic energy to smash itself to pieces.

This wasn't a toy, it was too fragile for a child to move it through the air making airplane noises, and the only purpose it now serves is decorating my old room. Because of how fragile it was, I didn't want to risk moving it.

Now, the variation on a classic. (Sure hope Stooge hasn't done this one already)

Leia is walking in one of the hallways of Cloud City, before the big dinner, when one of the employees tell her that her hair smells nice. Leia blushes, and immediatly turns and walk straight to Landos office. Well inside, she tells Lando that she wants to report one of his workers for sexual harrassment.
"What did he do?" Lando asks.
"He told me my hair smelled nice!" Leia answered.
"That hardly qualifies as sexual harrassment," Lando replies "take the compliment."
Leia looks at Lando, "The employee was an ugnaught."

I hope that wasn't too inapropriate.
