I wrote this poem and wanted to share it here! It's for kids, but big kids will enjoy it to. I would like to illustrate this as well.

The Color of Star Wars

A long time ago and far, far away
A galaxy glowed through night and through day.
Such colorful planets
and places to see!
Let's visit them all!
Let's go! One, two, three!

First stop, the Death Star.
There isn't much here!
black, grey, and white -
Quite dull, I fear!

Next stop, Tatooine
with two suns ablaze.
What colors are here?
Orange, red, and maze!

And how 'bout Naboo,
A shimmering place!
With violets and golds,
from land straight to space!

Now let's not be hasty, let's take our time.
This galaxy brims with a color goldmine!
There's planets to visit-
some are bizarre.
Let's hop in our spacecraft,
and see Mustafar!

A fiery planet!
It's just too darn hot
and to smokey to see
if there's colors or not!

So onwards we go
to a more pleasant planet-
The green world of Endor awaits!
Let's get at it!

Just look at the beauty!
It must win a prize
for luscious green trees
and endless blue skies!

Last on our stop is
a dark foggy place,
the home of a Master
whose kind wrinkled face
made us forget
the slippery, gross things
that quietly slithered through
greys, browns, and greens.

And like every planet
no two were the same!
