"Good guys wear white. Real men wear Kamas."
Last installment of the series, I am actually speechless under the magic of this novel. But will try to babble anyway without giving any spoilers, so I will actually babble.
Victory is always unknown under the galactic war climax. Even in the victorious conditions losses always will be there for the ones in frontlines. As expected, and I want to say this first, there are losses in this novel too. But I never expected this one particularly. I am not giving any spoilers but one's death is, well, somehow I found it unnecessary. It could have been later, or somewhat different than the told way. Anyway if you expected it then this novel will work wonder on your mental health. It is so intense as always, but also so epic! It is like watching a new Star Wars movie for the first time ever in the premiere night. Null-Arcs were awesome as always. And they together are really an army! As it is stated in the previous novels from the series. They are the private army of Kal'buir. Also It was so awesome to learn about Fi's condition. I waited more info on Corr's but since he is doing pretty ok, no problem there on that side, maybe in the next item of the series which due to September I guess. And I wonder what will going to happen to Commander Levet. Remember him? He was the one that knew Etain's condition and kept his mouth shut. Anyway I sense a new plot there for the next one. I am not sure but something will gonna happen about it, I think. I may be wrong.
The best part was it is connected with the original Republic Commando game at last. This is expected; so no spoilers there I guess. But I might say it was too late, the book was about to finish when I read about it. So all the more reasons that I am so excited for the next one. You can have more info from
the author's official site. Let me say this much. She, Karen Traviss, is the best by far! I am a fan of her work. Awesome! Go check the other novels she wrote.
