Happy 10th Anniversary for The Phantom Menace

This is the one that started it all for the prequel trilogy. And I am happy for that! With no Episode I there could not be an Episode II. I know how much fun I had filming Episode II and I have heard great stories from many actors and crew who worked on Episode I. Ray Park and Jake Lloyd both have great memories and some wonderful stories about their experiences on the film. Ray recalled long hours of practice for the lightsaber battles. Jake told me about how fun it was playing with the pod racer. (I can relate to that, I had fun playing with Slave I!) Kenny Baker told me how hot it was in Tunisia and about his afternoon swims.

So a big Happy Anniversary to everyone for 10 great years of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace!

great to hear from you personally, Daniel!

i remember when i used to go to my father's church the year before TPM came out--that's when GL re-released Episodes IV-VI. i had gone to a 12:ooAM special showing...

my father, the preacher, may have heard about me having plans in doing so and criticized others for doing so over the pulpit! me, i just kind of played stupid and was like, 'hmm, who would do that!"

since then, from TPM to ROTS, GL has once again sparked that great imagination in that little boy in me...

HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY TPM, and SW in general!

I know how much fun I had filming Episode II Your fantastic work really helped lay the groundwork for understanding - and empathizing with - Boba's backstory. I fell in love with the whole characterization of Boba after that film.

(I can relate to that, I had fun playing with Slave I!) Wow - so awesome....! That would be an amazing simulator....Ahhh, a gal can dream, right?!
