Welcome! To the nitpickiest corner of the blogosphere...
Like most of you, I've been a Star Wars fan since forever (or at least, in my case, 1977) but I've also been fortunate enough to work professionally in the Lucas universe for the last ten years.

In that time I've worked on more than a dozen books, in the process becoming a bit of a specialist in non-fiction guidebooky projects. I have a memory for -- and interest in -- the subject of fictional continuity, which has come in handy when trying to summarize and explain the universe of Star Wars in the writing projects I've worked on. Here's a partial list of projects I've been involved with:

- The Essential Guide to Planets and Moons
- The Essential Guide to Droids
- The Essential Chronology
- The New Essential Guide to Characters
- The New Essential Chronology
- Anakin Skywalker: The Story of Darth Vader
- C-3PO: Tales of the Golden Droid
- Episode I What's What
- Coruscant and the Core Worlds
- Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds
- Star Wars Trivial Pursuit (I wrote the questions!)

In addition to the above I have more SW projects coming up that I'll be talking about soon. You can also count on me to make general observations about geeky subjects such as in-universe calendars and the geographic layout of the galaxy. Hey, this is the stuff I like ... what else can I do?

More to come ...

Dan
