Quick-like-bunny update
I'm featured blog, better write something! Figures this would happen when I have next to nothing percolating. Oh well, can't complain.

1. Blogging at Club Jade soldiers on. I was sick last week and missed some stuff, but thankfully Paula was around for the big Toy Fair related stuff. Also, I started a fan art feature a few weeks back. Check it out, there's some awesome stuff out there!

2. Spending quality time with the porcelain god led to me being in a fairly rotten mood at the beginning of the week, some of which bled into The Force Unleashed entry. I'm not really a gamer and the fact that the things somehow became important to continuity and EU fans still kind of puzzles and annoys me. They just mean trouble for fandom and heaps more for fans to uselessly bicker over as far as I'm concerned. Oh well, least there's no Xizor this time. (Please no Xizor. Man, was he lame.) Hell, I may even buy the art book.

3. I started an EU chat room last week and it's doing pretty well. There are people there almost every night and conversation is lively, if often off-topic. But hey, it's a chat room, right? And yes, there will be an scheduled Exile chat in a couple of weeks. (Speaking of Exile, I spent most of the week thinking it was coming out today, but it's next week. D'oh!)

4. I got asked to contribute something to the first issue of Star Wars Outsider, but I don't know much more than you folks at this point. Still, it's a great concept and I'm glad to be involved, even if just for a bit of photoshoppery. I'm looking forward to the first issue, despite the fact that I'll have to break out the dreaded PDF reader. :D

5. I read Allegiance. Verdict: Much better than Outbound Flight, which practically put me to sleep, but it felt so familiar. It's either a textbook Zahn novel or I've far too much of the man's SW books. (Probably both.) Han was really great, though.

6. You must download Firefox 2.0. There's only one reason: spell check. Yeah, that's right. SPELL CHECK. (Just be sure to back up your bookmarks before you install it. I had no problems but I heard some folks did.)

7. Banthas get no love. Love the bantha.

I know some places where banthas get too much love, if you know what I mean.

Let's not go there. This is a family site, sir! ;)

Aye, I ken that. It's the families you want to keep an eye on, if you ask me.

And you don't have to call me "sir". "Grande Generalissimo" will suffice in informal environs such as these.

Your link to the fan art sent me on a wild romp through the Rockstar and Blue Sky archives, and for that I must thank you :)

Have a great day!

Cool stuff. Have to explore when I have the time. I miss my spell check so much....so I think I'll get fire fox, if it really does have a spell check. Does it erase your favorites?

I love the Bantha... from afar.

For having next to nothing percolating, you certainly have a lotta chock full o' nuts brewing. Awesome fan art. SW Outsider looks very cool. Club Jade just keeps getting awesomer. I keep on meaning to get on with an IRC and chat on the holo, but yeah, you know how that is.

FF 2.0 now ready for Mac too I hear :)

(Don't worry folks - Spork isn't talking to her sporktastic self)

Thanks for the update. I love Bantha's! I just cannot eat a whole one. I also read Allegiance; I liked it. It was funny in the way everything fit together. Seeing Mara Jade again is also fun. Uh, about video games. They are fun to play. Fans should not bicker, but there us nothing wrong, I think, about fans sharing thier opinion. They seem to enjoy it.

Enjoy your weekend, and never tell me the odds.

Hey, now, I love the bantha!

I also love the ketchup.

Two great tastes that go great together.
