The secret to getting readers to check a blog often is to update more than once a day. For the last few weeks I was letting my sleep schedule get the best of me, and I had a blogpression (i.e: feeling lazy) and I was pretty much only posting twice a day. Last two weeks? Hits were horrible.

Luckily, other people have been blogging (!!!) and not doing it at 4am and 6pm, and hits are... going up! And hits stayed steady over the past weekend - not particularly high, but not the usual giant dip, either. Why? Because of the CE blogging.

So, to myself, Ms. Blogging Since 2001, I only have one thing to say: Duh.

Or maybe I'm just deluding myself and it's all the Harry Potter brouhaha combined with our high Google rank that's doing it.
