So I was watching ESB today and I noticed something interesting, well at least it's new to me. But when Lando offers Han,Chewie, and Leia refreshments Chewie leaves C3PO in their room. Then of course they are brought to Vader, of course they shut the door on us. I've always wanted to know what lunch with Vader was like. Anyways My point is this the next time you see Chewie he's in the cell on Bespin fixing 3PO. When did he get it? Did Lando give it as a gift? Why would Empire even let him fix the droid? Was Vader with knowledge that he built the droid considerate enough to let Chewie fix it? I can't quite figure it out, any ideas anyone?
